Singing Straw Fall Vocal Reboot Challenge (2021)

Last season we spent a lot of time on vocal warm ups and development using a straw (SOVT singing). Whitney Nichole Cytryn is the vocal coach I learned this technique from and she is just fantastic. The videos below are part of a series of warm ups she produced last year to help get your voice ready for the fall - the idea is that you would do one of these videos a day, and include all of the exercises from the previous videos as well. I challenge you all to do this Fall Vocal Reboot before our first rehearsal. Note: you can do all of these exercises without the aid of a straw, but they are much more effective with one.
